i think it very true and not real how we can just change a photo just like. If i were running a photography contest there would be a line that you would have draw otherwise you would be getting random photo that dont go together.The line that would a photographer would cross would be something that is just not believeable and very out there. like that motorcycle and the tornado,there is no one that is going to ride motorcyle in tornado weather, it just is not believable. when they are editing these pictures they have to think about if it looks really and if the could see someone doing it. it is different when you add something to the camera or do something different to make the picture better. when you download a picture and create something totally oppisite that is not a true picture. the true chacater should come out in the way you take pictures not the way you can edit them.

I agree with you about photographs having to true character come out. Using photoshop takes that part away.

ReplyDeleteI think if a person was editing a photograph placing a motorcycle in a tornado the creator is not trying to create something that appears to be real or believable. They are creating a piece of art that is unique. This is a completely different type of photography and should have its separate category.
