Reaction Paper 4

Ansel Adams and David Paul Bayles are similar in some ways for photography but then there are also multiple different things. When I was looking through Adams work I started to realize that in his photographs he has more scenery in the entire picture. He does not really focus on one specific object in nature. His pictures are beautiful to me because when I look at them I picture myself in the scene and it makes me daydream of what life is and how it is and how I want it to be in the future. You can imagine so many things while looking at these pictures because they are breath taking and some of the most beautiful places on earth. He sees everything in the world as one instead of individual beauty. On the other hand there is Bayles, his work is very different because he does focus on one thing and tries to make the main object of the picture. Such as the trees- he had so many different types of trees that were oddly shaped or in odd places, but that is his type of art. The major difference between these two artists is that one focuses on the little things and the other looks at everything as one. They definitely both have a different aspect of art but to me they both are beautiful forms that interest many different people. Adams makes you think of the world around you including across seas or boarders, and Bayles makes you realize the little things that may just be around the corner.
