Reaction Paper#4
When looking at David Paul Bayles and Ansel Adams work I noticed that they had very different styles of photographs. David's work seemed very modern and almost artsey. I personally likes his work best out of the two photographers. Davis also took pictures of things in action which took a very different looking picture. I had never thought of doing that before. I thought his picutres were very creative. David's photographs seemed to be taken the way they were to get more of an artistic result. Ansel Adams pictures were less artsey in my opnion. Although when reading his background I understand better why he takes the pictures that he does, and how they have meaning to him. His focus was obviously trees and he would find different ways of incorporation trees into his photographs. I thought it was very interesting to see how different landscapes can look when taken from two different artists. I liked these photographers, because they reminded me that if you just stop for a moment and look around you, the landscape is so beactiful.
