I chose Bryan Barger because of the excellent color and depth throughout his photographs. Also his ability to capture and create detail is amazing. I really enjoyed looking at his work and ex specially his landscape photographs. I think his vision of landscapes is like none other that I have explored in this class. This really helped me step out side the box, as did the other photographers mention in the class discussion. Bryan compliments each landscape with each subject in the photo. I like his diversity of his collection as well.
He has photos of bright, crisp, red leaves in the forefront of the image and in the distance is a long winding road with accents of of bright autumn leaves filling the side. In comparison to, an ocean side view with rocks making a path down the center, leading to a cloud filled sky, as the sun peaks through lighting up the picture.
I think he captures a mixture of all the photographers that we were introduced to in the class for this project. I think there is something for everybody to enjoy in his collection. While trying to research more on his past experiences and how he creates his work, I was unable to find anything besides his gallery. But I am pleased to say Bryan has a Flicker account so you can view his collection there as well. I posted a link to get to his site so you can experience his work. I was also unable to post any of his photos because of copyright.
