Lois Bravo
Out of all the artists I found on this site, I chose Lois Bravo. I chose her because out of all the photographs I saw, hers defiantly stood out the most to me. Her work was just so different and unlike anything I have ever seen before. I like the more modern art and her work was very modern and unique. Lois says that many people have said that her work is very similar to certain modern artists, but because she is so modest and shy, she won’t say exactly who these people are referring to. By her information, I learned that she is very excepting of exactly who she is as a person. One of her favorite quotes is, “I am what I am and that’s what I am”. I really like that about her. She seems like a very strong individual. Lois Bravo is a self-taught artist, which is amazing to think about when you see how great her work is and to think that she learned all that by herself. Another cool fact about Lois is that she was born in Apple Valley, Minnesota. She is a very proud grandmother and loves taking photographs of them. She also takes many interesting pictures of the Twin Cities as well as surrounding areas. I thought Lois was a very interesting artist and I would enjoy learning more and viewing more of her work.

I love this photograph. It is very modern. I like her quote. From her quote you can tell she is probably very open with her photographs.
