Melissa Ann Pinney
When I looked at Melissa's photos, I was not very impressed. I had expected her to have a different taste in her shots that she took. All of her pictures were centered with the girls, and sometimes it's more interesting if the focal point is not straight on with the camera. I felt that alot of the pictures lacked emotion, because a lot of the girls just stared blankly at the camera, or just stood there and smiled. There were very few pictures that the girls had a smile on their face, or any kind of emotion. My favorite picture of hers would have to be the one with the four little girls climbing the trees in the woods. It reminds me of when my cousins, brother and I would go and play in the woods at my Grandma and Grandpa's house, and find so many interesting things back there. Even in this picture though there is no emotions on the little girls' faces. Looking through all her pictures, I wasn't really able to understand the story in them, or figure out why she chose to take the pictures that she did, the way she did.
