Reaction Paper 7
After looking through the pictures I really enjoyed looking at Kevin Michael Snyder's work from Minnesota. The photos he has are really breathtaking and they are almost mystical. I can look at them and lose myself in them. His photos look like easy snap shots but it takes a lot of work to get the photo just right. The photos I liked the most were one with frost all over the tree. I love in the winter when it freezes and the frost coats the trees, it is just beautiful. the other photograph I really liked was called Illgen Falls which was taken on the north shore of Lake Superior. The brown in the waterfall caught my eye, and the way he made the water look when it was falling along with coming towards the shore and crashing against the rocks and pouring over them just really caught my eye. He didn't really say very much throughout his photographs but there were very few pictures where he needed to give explanation. The way he used the colors so rich like made the photos pop that much more. I really enjoyed looking at these photographs and being able to take something from them to help me learn more when I take photos from a landscape point of view.

His pictures are very real, and very soft. He make something that is so cold seem warm and soft.
