I have chosen to review Jodie Keefe's work. Jodie is from Waverly, MN and is an art teacher and works with the school yearbook and other publications. Jodie likes to capture the essence of the moment in time. Because of this she developed a saying and she lives by it "slice of life". By looking at her photography she has meet this expectation. 
Jodie displayed many different types of photography; portraiture, landscape, wedding photography and wildlife, my favorite was the landscape photographs. Her photos show life changes, such as weddings but this also shows in the landscape photography.
By the looks of her photography she has traveled but the majority of the work displayed was from the local Minnesota areas. Jodie produces photos with wonderful colors and brilliant lighting. Jodie is not only a photographer she is also a graphic artist. This combination really gives her the edge to having a eye for being artistic.
Stacy I see what you mean she does beautiful work. She has a way with light in her pictures they are wonderful.
ReplyDeleteI like the picture of the birds in the sky. The color is sharp and the lighting is well contrasted throughout. The sun-shine in the middle of the photo is also a eye catcher and is pleasing to look at, it really draws you into the photo.
