I think I have come a long way in capturing images. From the first project I used the picture of my two daughter's to compare. When I look at this photo I can see many changes that I would do today. First the lighting is off. I would lighten the front of the picture and the shadow and darken the school building. I would also get a different angle. I would off center the Destiney and Faith and capture the full height of the school building. I would also enhance the color in a different way. I would use a more soft color to enhance it with.

My favorite photographer that I have been introduced to in this class is Kevin Synder. His work is amazing and shows real beauty. I like his technique and the places and things he captures. His work inspired me to go beyond what I think I am capable of.
From this point, I think I will bring all the tools used in photoshope and the technique used by other photographers viewed in this class to further my ability to create photos. I think I will use much of what I learned to photograph pictures of my family and landscape photos to place in my home. I think I still have a lot to learn and plan to gain more experience through experimenting with my camera.
I really like both of your photos that you talked about here! Isn't it fun to see how much progress you have made during this photography course. Enjoy taking photos in the future!
ReplyDeleteI think it is great that we were inspired by others to think outside the box and to take different photos than what we are used to. I loved the images of the girls.
